Children’s Ministry

HCEFree Children’s Ministry exists to partner with parents as they train up their children to know God intimately, to love Him passionately, and to serve Him selflessly.

3 Key Elements

Christ Centered: (Proverbs 22:6) The goal of the children’s ministry at EFree is to saturate every child in the truth of God’s Word. Through lessons, Scripture memory, and various hands-on activities the children are able to actively learn God’s Word. Sunday mornings we use 2 different curricula; Gospel Light’s Kids Church during Children’s Church hour, and Children Desiring God is used during the Sunday School hour. Every lesson is prepared and taught by our extraordinary volunteers with diligence, love, and a passion for teaching children God’s truth.

Family-Supported: (Deut. 6:5-9)We recognize and believe that the primary responsibility in raising a child to know the Lord begins with the parents. At EFree we desire to partner with parents and support their needs and efforts in this role. Every Sunday morning children are given “take home pages” from Children’s Church and Sunday School. These sheets are designed to help parents and children discuss what was learned on Sunday mornings. Once a month families have the opportunity to join the church family in a night of worship and prayer during Family Praise Night.

JOY! We do not serve a boring God, and we do not want our children’s view of God, the Bible, or church to be boring. On Sunday mornings it is our goal to bring those stories to life. All lessons are designed to be interactive and hands-on. By doing so children are able to relate to the Bible stories being taught and have fun learning, and growing in God’s love.
